Yoga Nidra
Sunday, March 28th at 6:30 PM
$5
Yoga Nidra (aka- yogic sleep) is not actually sleep. Yoga Nidra is a conscious, deep relaxation taking you beyond the ego-mind. In sleep we enter the slow alpha & even slower theta brain waves. Throughout our normal day the brain waves are faster beta waves. The slower brain waves produce deep relaxation and are entry points into the subconscious. At the beginning of your journey into Yoga Nidra you will be asked to make a sankalpa (a wish or positive intention) which will be reaffirmed later while in your deeply relaxed state. Reportedly, the practice can significantly lower internal conflict. It is used by some professionals as a therapeutic tool for personal growth, dissolving self-destructive habit patterns and releasing mood elevating brain chemicals (serotonin, melotonine and endorphins). |

The Five Tibetan Rites
Date coming soon.
Join certified yoga teacher Tricia Wylie for a fun practice of the Five Tibetan Rites. The rites are a system of energetic postures and exercises that originated in the Himalayas. Tibetan monks claim these 5 exercises can lead to a reduction in the aging process by helping to normalize hormonal imbalances. Once learned, the rites take about 20 minutes to perform and can be practiced anywhere-making them invaluable to those who travel and have time limiting schedules. Class concludes with final relaxation. $15 or 1 class pass or free for unlimited pass holders. YOU MUST PRE-REGISTER |

Balancing Workshop
June 19
Our life is full of Balancing. We balance work, relationships, parenthood, and so much more. It is very easy to become off balance and that is why we step on the mat. We step on the mat to put ourselves back together with our body, mind, and heart. This workshop is to put us back in balance. Just like our lives in yoga we balance many different aspects of our practice; our breath to movement, effort to softness, and hands to feet. This workshop will go through the many different aspects of yoga to balance ourselves from the inside out. When we create a steadiness within we can create a calmness out. Let us play on our hands, feet, head, and arms. This workshop is good for all levels. |

Yoga at the Wall -- it's not just for inversions!
Saturday, July 17th at 12:00 Noon
$15 drop in or one class pass on your card, no additional charge for unlimited pass-holders
Join Jordan to deepen your awareness of alignment by incorporating the wall into your yoga practice!
Many of your favorite poses can be practiced using the wall. We lean into it, align our body with it, push off of it, and press into it to deepen our understanding of the subtleties of yoga asanas. Some poses are easier, and some are made more challenging by using the wall. Practicing with the wall helps us engage deep core muscles, and stretch more deeply than we often can on our own. The wall may not be what you think...come try it out and be prepared to learn something new.
This is a great complement to a regular yoga practice, as well as a fun way to learn new poses. Appropriate for beginner/intermediate/advanced level students. Please register in advance to reserve your spot.
